About the Artist

Tom Kilmartin is a lifelong summer resident of Peaks Island, Maine. A self-taught artist, he focuses on seascapes that capture the rugged beauty of the island. He also creates whimsical seagull paintings and occasional still lifes. His paintings are in private collections across the country and as far away as Galway, Ireland. One of his works was recently published in The Island Reader, an anthology of Maine island artists and writers.
